The McKinney Sisters from Moundridge are homeschooled and have been playing together as a trio for more than three years. Daryl plays acoustic guitar and mandolin; Randyl plays banjo, dobro, guitar and mandolin; and Mikyl plays fiddle and mandolin. Sit back and enjoy the bluegrass talents of these young musicians.

The Wichita Symphony was founded in 1944 and is one of the oldest and most active arts organizations in Kansas. Throughout its 75 years of existence, the orchestra’s mission has been to provide the state with the highest quality musical presentations for as many different audiences as possible. The five members of the Brass Quintet will be gracing us with a performance, displaying a tight ensemble born of years of playing together as a group.
